In 2019, Darnytsia joined the charity project #SchedryyVivtorok — an annual international initiative designed to unite non-profit organizations, authorities, businesses, and people to do good deeds. But how to make charity a mass phenomenon?
We turned charity into fun. We developed an interactive site where everyone could feel like a researcher and at the same time do a good deed. When a person clicked on the Darnytsia web microscope, the counter added UAH 1 to the donations number. Each click of our customers was converted into an authorized donation.
As a result, we managed to increase the number of participants by 500 times and collect UAH 196,754 for the children’s wing of the National Cancer Institute.
