Bessarabia is a traditional wine-making region of Ukraine. The owners of the new winery from Khotyn decided to remind people about the region history and make their wine a part of it.
A large gate, often in castles, is called a ‘brama’. And Khotyn Castle is the main historical landmark of Khotyn and the most famous castle in Western Ukraine. So we opened Brama Wine: the brama opens the story, and the wine tells it.
The gate shape became the basis of the logo, and it revealed to us the historical maps and photographs depicted on the back. Not only wine was born from grapes, but also a label: the paper for it was made from fallen grape leaves.
As a result, the brand, which until recently was ‘nameless’, immediately took its place in the hearts of local cafes, restaurants, and guests of Khotyn.
