The World of Skovoroda
On December 3, 2022, Ukraine celebrated the 300th anniversary of the philosopher and writer Hryhorii Skovoroda. At this time, the entire country was on the verge of a complete blackout due to constant russian shelling. How can Savych’s anniversary be properly celebrated in such extreme conditions?
Today, as well as 300 years ago, the light of freedom cuts through the darkness. So we prepared and held the first exhibition that was not afraid of the blackout — The World of Skovoroda.
For 8 days, about 1,150 m² of exhibition space in the Ukrainian House was filled with light and meaning. Unique lighting solutions, live musical performances, exclusive ‘dark’ tours in the light of candles and flashlights with Yevgeny Stasinevych, master classes on creating comics, and much more were implemented. And the branding of the World of Skovoroda became popular immediately after its release.
The President of Ukraine and the First Lady attended the official opening of the exhibition. And in just 8 days of the project, more than 15 thousand visitors saw the exposition. The World of Skovoroda received more than 5,000 mentions on social networks.
